If you are at the core of your being an introvert, this photo is what happens when you attend a women’s event across the country by yourself. You visit, you talk, and you might even make a good acquaintance or two, but no best friend across the miles kind of friend. Most of us introverts are okay with that though, so don’t feel too bad that I took a self portrait at She Speaks.Next year I will take a girlfriend or two with me, not just because I did get a bit lonely this year, but because it was an amazing experience that I want to share.

Goodness sakes sweetie! What a weekend! Sure glad we prayed over you! My fast was from soda - figured if Lysa was going to do it for her conference I could do it for my good friend. Actually I went a step further and added all my special drinks like Propel and green tea to the fasting list (cause I love you so much, you're worth the extra sacrifice :o). So everytime I filled up my water bottle I was praying for you. Got a little water logged! But I guess you needed it! The Lord knew! I should have prayed everytime I filled my bottle and every time I emptied it - drinking that much water really makes you pee!
